새한영어영문학회 2025년 가을 학술대회를 다음과 같은 주제로 개최하오니, 관심있는 선생님들께서는 발표 신청을 해주시기 바랍니다. 지정된 주제 외에 기타 자유주제로 발표하는 것 또한 환영합니다. 평소 연구하고 계신 것을 이번 학술대회를 계기로 다른 연구자들과 공유해주시면 감사하겠습니다.
주제 AI 시대의 세계와 행성: 인간과 비인간의 공존
(The World and the Planet in the Era of AI: The Coexistence of Human and Nonhuman)
일시: 2025년 10월 25일 (토) 11:00 ~18:00
장소: 부경대학교 인문사회경영관
기조연설: AI 시대의 문학의 미래 (김용규 교수, 부산대 영어영문학과)
현재 생성형 인공지능의 비약적 발전과 확산은 우리의 삶과 사고 방식을 변화시킬 뿐만 아니라 학문 자체의 기초에 대한 변화까지 강요하고 있습니다. 이러한 대 전환기 속에서 우리는 다시금 인문학의 역할을 사유할 필요가 있습니다. 이번 학술대회에서는 인간이 살아가며 경험하는 ‘세계’와 인간중심적 가치 및 제도 너머 생태계로서의 ‘행성’이라는 개념에 기대어 AI가 우리의 존재 방식, 물리적 환경, 그리고 상상력에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 함께 탐구하고자 합니다. 언어, 문학, 이론, 예술, 문화 등 다양한 영역에서 인간과 비인간의 경계, 상호작용, 공존의 윤리를 모색하는 연구를 환영합니다. 이러한 탐색은 인간과 비인간 존재의 새로운 관계 맺기를 상상하고, 인문학적 사유의 지평을 넓히며, 이른바 ‘AI 시대’의 파고를 헤쳐나갈 힘을 기르는 계기가 될 것입니다.
Now, the rapid development and widespread adoption of generative AI are not only transforming our everyday lives and modes of thought but also compelling us to re-examine the very foundations of academic inquiry itself. At this moment of profound transition, it is all the more urgent to reflect on the role of the humanities. This conference seeks to explore how AI shapes our ways of being, our material environments, and our imaginative capacities, through the lens of the world—as the space of lived human experience—and the planet—as an ecological condition that exceeds anthropocentric values and institutional boundaries. We welcome research that investigates the shifting boundaries, interactions, and ethics of coexistence between the human and the nonhuman across diverse domains such as literature, language, theory, the arts, and culture. Through such inquiries, we hope to envision new relational modes between human and nonhuman beings, expand the horizons of humanistic thought, and cultivate the capacity to navigate the waves of what is often called the “AI era.”

- 발표 요약문: 10월 4일 마감. 각 학술이사에게 전송 (A4 3-4매 분량 – 학술대회 자료집 게재용)
- 학술대회 발표문: 10월 14일 화요일 마감. 각 학술이사에게 전송 (토론자 공유용)
